Well here is the start on the fantastic cast of NCIS…
Michael Weatherly was born Michael Manning Weatherly, Jr. on July 8th, 1968 New York City. He grew up in Fairfield, Connecticut and has 5 sisters and 1 brother. Michael graduated from Brooks School in North Andover, Massachusetts, in 1986. He attended American University of Paris for two years. I read a funny story about Michael about when he was living in the red-light district in Paris, he was 19 at the time and was attending the American University. Anyways he got to know the ladies of the evening as he made his way to and from school, but says he was too broke to ever “visit” with them. He recalled: “So my mom came to visit, of course, and we are walking down the street and every hooker is, ‘Bonjour Michael.’ And I am, “Mom, they don’t know me. They just see me all the time.” My mom was, ‘There are a lot of ladies in the neighborhood.’
Michael had a passion for music and actually played in a band while pursuing his career. He contributed the song Bitter and Blue to the second soundtrack album of NCIS. The success of the song led to Michael recording several more songs, including “Pretty Baby”, “All Fall Apart”, “Lovlihead”, and “Suffer for Me”.
Michael’s acting career started on The Cosby Show playing Theo Huxtable’s roommate in 1991. He went onto starring in the soap opera called Loving (I remember seeing Michael for the first time on this show, loved him!) he played Cooper Alden and his onscreen love interest was Stephanie “Steffi” Brewster (Amelia Heinle, “The Young and the Restless” – Victoria Newman). The two married in real-life in 1995 and had a son, August Manning Weatherly, on January 10, 1996. They divorced in 1997.
After Loving ended Michael went onto the soap opera The City from 1992 until 1996. This show continued where Loving left off and some of the same characters followed. Some stars of the show were Ally Alden (played by Laura Wright), Steffi Brewster (Amelia Heinle), Alex Masters (Randolph Mantooth), Angie Hubbard (Debbi Morgan), Tess Wilder (Catherine Hickland), Buck Huston (Philip Brown), Danny Roberts (Ted King), Jocelyn Roberts (Lisa Lo Cicero), Jacob Foster (Darnell Williams), Frankie Hubbard (Alimi Ballard), Richard Wilkins (Darnell Williams), and Tony Soleito (George Palermo).
Michael effectually moved out to Los Angeles and became a series regular on the FOX television series Significant Others, with Jennifer Garner, Elizabeth Mitchell, Scott Bairstow & Eion Bailey. This show only lasted for 6 episodes.
He made a guest appearance as a Warlock in the series Charmed during its first season in 1998. Charmed had a great cast that included Holly Marie Combs (Picket Fences), Alyssa Milano (Who’s The Boss), Rose McGowan, Shannen Doherty (Beverly Hills 90210), Brian Krause, Dorian Gregory, Julian McMahon (Nip/Tuck, Another World), Drew Fuller, Kaley Cuoco, T.W. King, Greg Vaughan & Karis Paige Bryant.
He starred in Dark Angel for the two seasons it was on the air. He became romantically involved with the star of the show Jessica Alba, which eventually lead to their engagement in 2002, they broke it off.
In 2003, he appeared in JAG as Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo. JAG starred David James Elliott, Catherine Bell and Patrick Labyorteaux. Michael continues playing Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo in NCIS which also stars, Mark Harmon as Senior Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, Cote de Pablo as Probationary NCIS Agent Ziva David, Sean Murray as Special Agent Timothy McGee, Pauley Perrette as Forensic Specialist Abby Sciuto, David McCallum as Chief Medical Examiner Donald Mallard, Rocky Carroll as NCIS Director Leon Vance.

Michael Weatherly Quotes:
“We are very excited about welcoming a new member of the family, a daughter. I have a 16-year-old son and I am very excited to do it all over again,” he told Life & Style magazine. “I am looking forward to not getting much sleep!”
“Gentlefolk of Twitter and elsewhere, Bojana and I are proud to announce the arrival yesterday of Olivia Weatherly! #SpecialAgentWeatherly,” he tweeted.
“Here’s the thing, when I went to a prenatal class it was like going to a drive-in horror movie,” Weatherly joked while preparing for Olivia’s arrival. “I saw things in that class at 9:30 in the morning … it was the Alien meets The Exorcist.”
(asked if he still enjoys playing Tony in “NCIS”) You know, I’m actually looking forward to taking some time off. Being away from Tony is really nice because he is a lot (to handle). I mean, I hang out with him a lot and he’s hard work! He’s very tactile and loves to live life to the full. And he eats a lot!
(about NCIS) And there’s also a family dynamic that’s like growing up in an American dysfunctional family. You know, you’ve got the father, the strange sibling rivalries going on and the weird grandpa in the basement with the dead bodies. You know, like everyone’s family. I get to hang out and “play” with my friends, and laugh between takes with some of the funniest and silliest characters I have ever met.
What a cool guy and not to mention a hunk! He is one reason I love NCIS…Stay tuned for more on these amazing stars of the show…
