BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN

Brian Austin Green was born on July 15, 1973 in Van Nuya, California. His parents are George & Joyce, Keith & Lori are his older siblings.

Brian began preparing for a career in the entertainment industry as early as the fifth grade. Upon entering the Thirty Second Street School for the Performing Arts he focused on music, and with USC Film School around the corner, he was soon starring in student films.

Work in commercials followed, as did the opportunity to play a role in the PBS production of The Canterville Ghost starring Richard Kiley.

He is probably best known for his portrayal of David Silvers on Beverly Hills, 90210. I remember seeing him as a young boy on my favorite nighttime series Knots Landing where he played Donna Mills son Brian Cunningham. Brian’s own personality resembled that of his character on the show. His role was often about that of what his interests were in real life, his character liked hip hop and was a D.J. and so was Brian.

In the early and mid-90’s Brian dated Tiffani Thiessen (Valerie Malone in Beverly Hills, 90210). After their breakup, he met actress Vanessa Marcil (who has had roles as Brenda Barrett Corinthos on General Hospital, and Sam Marquez on Las Vegas), she too was on Beverly Hills, 90210 in the role of Gina Kincaid. Brian and Vanessa had a son, Kassius Lijah, who was born March 30, 2002.

In 1996, he dropped his middle name Austin and tried his hand at becoming a rapper, his first album was titled One Stop Carnival.

Some TV shows he has done are Baywatch, Highway to Heaven, Small Wonder & The New Leave it to Beaver. Showtime’s Resurrection Blvd. as Luke Bonner, ABC sitcom Freddie, starring Freddie Prinze, Jr. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles playing uncle to John Connor Derek Reese and Desperate Housewives on ABC.

He has been in such movies as Domino which by the way his pal Ian Ziering, from Beverly Hills 90210 was also in, he appeared in a horror short called Grace, which was set around a miscarriage gone bad, and features Gilmore Girls actress Liza Weil as his love interest. This short film premiered at the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors convention in 2006 and was re-worked as a full-length feature film in 2009. His projects that were released in 2010 were Cross, Last Stop, Monster Heros and The Sandy Creek Girls. For 2011 he has the film Wish Wizard.

As for theatre he did productions of Ah, Wilderness and The Diary.

On September 27, 2009, Brian made a guest appearance on the television show Saturday Night Live in a skit involving girlfriend Megan Fox. In the skit he played a version of the Transformer Bumblebee in which Bumblebee is merely a man wearing a Bumblebee mask.

In 2004 Brian began dating Megan Fox, the two had met on Megan’s TV show Hope & Faith. They were involved in an on-again, off-again relationship, before marrying in June 2010 in a private ceremony at the Four Seasons Resort in Hawaii. Megan has been in such films as Jonah Hex and Jennifer’s Body.

*Brian Austin Green Quotes:

Some friends and I formed a rap group and we sing about the problems today: drugs, violence and all that. We try to send out a positive message because so many people are influenced by music.

I’m not really into glamour. I’d rather live out in the country-chop my own wood. I’m just more into nature.

I grew up paying attention to every little bit of information I could get my hands on, I just soaked it all up – whether it was hip-hop or whatever. It was all from observing and being with people.

I take a baths all the time. I’ll put on some music and burn some incense and just sit in the tub and think, Wow, life is great right now.

I want my family and friends and everybody around me to be taken care of, and to enjoy their lives as much as I enjoy mine right now.

I was never trying to be something. I just did what was fun and what seemed to come pretty much naturally to me.

It was really like waking up one morning and going, Wow, I enjoy being with this person more than anybody else in my life, and it just turned out to be mutual.

My goal was to play drums, but my father made me take piano lessons. He told me I needed to learn to read music first, so I took lessons for six years. I thank God that he made me take those lessons, because it taught me a tremendous amount.

My mother’s incredibly giving, almost too giving at times. And, my dad is a real logical person. He’s got logic for every situation. They’ve been married for 24 years, so there was that stability, also. I really learned to think on my own at a very young age.

Somebody who’s really comfortable with who she is and doesn’t care what other people think. I like women who are really strong and were brought up to be comfortable with themselves and respect themselves.

The worst thing you can do is to put your life aside for someone else.

Then they filmed T.J. Hooker on my street, and I got to meet William Shatner. That was another big moment. I can never put myself in that same category for some reason, it’s just weird.

Tiffani-Amber Thiessen lived together for a year and dated for a little over three years, and we had been friends for almost six years before that.

And if the postman doesn’t try to slip a letter through the slot in the baby’s penny bank, and make the five cent piece jump over the dollar bill, I’ll tell you next another story…
