JACLYN SMITH

Jaclyn Smith was born Jaclyn Ellen Smith on October 26, 1947. She is probably best known for the role of Kelly Garrett in the television series Charlie’s Angels which ran from 1976-1981. She was the only female lead to remain with the show for it’s entire run.

LIV TYLER

Liv Tyler was born Liv Rundgren on July 1, 1977 in New York. She is the daughter of Aerosmith’s lead singer, Steven Tyler, and Bebe Buell, model and singer. Her mom claimed that Liv was Todd Rundgren’s daughter but in later years when Liv was 9 years old she met Steven Tyler and noticed that she had a resemblance to his other daughter Mia. She then learned that indeed Steven Tyler was her real dad! The two have since become close.

CHAD ALLEN

Chad Allen was born Chad Allen Lazzarion on June 5, 1974. He has a twin sister named Charity. Chad is basically Italian with a little German mixed in. He was raised within a “strict” Roman Catholic household and regards himself as being a “deeply spiritual person” because of his upbringing. His first job was in a McDonalds television commercial, at age four. One of his first television acting jobs was in 1981 on the TV Series Simon & Simon (which starred the sexy Jameson Parker, who I used to watch on the Soap Opera One Life To Live in the 1980’s) in the episode: “A Recipe for Disaster”. Chad went onto St. Elsewhere where he played Tommy Westphall on 11 episodes between 1983-1988. One of my favorite actors from St. Elsewhere was Mark Harmon (Mark is the uncle to Gunnar & Matthew Nelson, you know those blond guys that took up singing like their famous dad Rick Nelson) Anyways back to Chad…He also did some guest starring roles in the 1980’s on shows like Airwolf, The New Leave It to Beaver, Matt Houston, Hotel, A Death in California, Code of Vengeance, Punky Brewster & Webster.

Away from the limelight, they like to play piano and keyboards together. Oldest sister Bobby Jean, or B.J. as her siblings and friends call her, has done some modeling and hopes to break into acting.

FRED SAVAGE

I bet most of you know Fred Savage from his early days on the hit 1980’s TV series The Wonder Years. It was a cool show centering around Kevin Arnold (Fred Savage) and his life as a teenager growing up in the 1960’s. I enjoyed it and still tune into the reruns on TV.

STEPHEN DORFF

I don’t really know a lot about Stephen but I do remember him in the 1994 movie Backbeat where he played Stuart Sutcliffe, his girlfriend on there was Astrid Kirchherr (played by Sheryl Lee who was Laura Plamer on Twin Peaks, what a weird film/series, I remember feeling spacy after watching, well even during that show, LOL). Backbeat chronicled the early days of The Beatles in Hamburg, Germany. It mainly focused on the relationship between Stuart Sutcliffe (played by Stephen Dorff) and John Lennon (played by Ian Hart), and also with Sutcliffe’s German girlfriend Astrid Kirchherr (played by Sheryl Lee). Others in this film were – Paul McCartney (played by Gary Bakewell), George Harrison (played by Chris O’Neill), Ringo Starr (played by Paul Duckworth). Now Gary Bakewell later reprised his role as McCartney in the television film The Linda McCartney Story (Elizabeth Mitchell did an excellent portrayal of Linda McCartney in this film! I really enjoyed this movie although it was so sad when she died.)

DANGER DANGER

This band was made up of some talented, hot looking guys with long hair! They were a glam metal band who came together in 1987 in Queens, New York and consisted of former Hotshot members lead vocalist Mike Pont, bassist Bruno Ravel, and drummer Steve West, guitarist Al Pitrelli and former Get With It  keyboardist Kasey Smith. Mike Pont later left the band and was replaced by Ted Poley. After one failed demo they did another one and they got a recording contract with Epic Records. In 1988, Pitrelli left Danger Danger. Pont and Pitrelli reunited to form a new line-up of Hotshot.

JASON PRIESTLEY

JASON PRIESTLEY

Jason Priestley, hmm what can I say about Jason Priestley…the first time I saw Jason was probably in 1990 when he was playing the part of Brandon Walsh on Beverly Hills, 90210, the show was entertaining and all, filled with teenage drama. That is where he got his teen idol status. But anyways Jason has appeared on many television shows and done quite a few films!

Jason started his acting career pretty early on when he was about 5 he was doing commercials! I guess he got the acting bug from his mom who was also once an actress. I read somewhere that his grandfather was an acrobat! I guess entertaining came naturally to him with that kind of background!

SHANE WEST

SHANE WEST

The first time I saw Shane West was on the ABC TV Series Once and Again where he played Eli Sammler which starred Sela Ward (loved her on the TV show Sisters, she is now on CSI: NY!), Billy Campbell (he is now on a show I watch which is really good called The Killing on AMC), Evan Rachel Wood (I recently saw her in the HBO Miniseries Mildred Pierce which starred Kate Winslet, wow quite a performance!) and other great actors! But getting back to Shane, don’t mind me if I start to ramble on about something totally out of what the blog is about, I tend to connect alot of dots with actors/actresses, kind of like the Kevin Bacon game…Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon but mine tend to go past the 6 steps! LOL
