This British Television Series is simply superb (IMHO)! I started watching this show from it’s debut in January 2011 and we are currently on season 3 here in the states. The show was created by Julian Fellowes. Some of you may be familiar with him from his days on another brilliant British Television Series called Monarch of the Glen (Another one of my favorites!). He played the part of Kilwille.

Beauty and the Beast will begin October 11, 2012 on The CW, it stars Kristin Kreuk (“Smallville”) as Catherine Chandler and New Zealand actor Jay Ryan (“Terra Nova”) as Vincent Koslow. It is described as a modern-day romantic love story with a procedural twist. The 1980’s version that ran on CBS starred Ron Perlman as the mythic man beast and Linda Hamilton as the object of his affection.
Doesn’t it feel like ages ago since the Season 1 finale of Homeland? Well folks here we are, finally!, it’s almost time for Season 2 (September 30) with more intrigue and suspense! This Showtime edge-of-your-seat series, is (in my opinion) one of the best thrillers on American TV. What a fantastic cast and the acting is superb! Homeland manages to be both an addictive espionage thriller and a compelling character study.
This series is on the 2012 Fall line-up and is scheduled to air on ABC Sunday nights at 10:00 pm Eastern/9:00 pm Central, after Revenge. 666 Park Avenue stars:
Terry O’Quinn (“Lost,” “Millennium,” “Hawaii Five-0,” “Alias,” “The West Wing,” “Jag”) as Gavin Doran, the building’s owner and the series’ primary antagonist.
Vanessa Williams (“Desperate Housewives,” “Ugly Betty,” Shaft, Soul Food) as Olivia Doran, the coldly beautiful and sophisticated wife of the building’s owner.
Gavin and Olivia recruit an idealistic young couple, Jane and Henry, to manage the historic site which has a dark past.
Okay I was thinking about this show I saw quite a while back and decided to do some research on it…
The show was an episode from the late 1950’s – early 1960’s TV show One Step Beyond…
A quick synopsis on One Step Beyond – The show was out about the same time as the popular The Twilight Zone. It lasted three seasons on ABC from 1959 to 1961, ninety-six episodes were filmed. This program sought out ‘real’ stories of the supernatural, including ghosts, disappearances, monsters, etc., and re-creating them for each episode. No solutions to these mysteries were ever found, and viewers could only scratch their heads and wonder, “what if it’s real?” Each episode of One Step Beyond had a different cast. Many had well-known guest stars in the lead roles. The program was hosted by John Newland.
This is going to be a rather long blog, the reason being, I LOVED The Bob Newhart Show and still watch it in reruns almost every night on ME TV! This show starred Bob Newhart as Bob Hartley a psychologist who deals with his patients and fellow co-workers, and his home life with his loving wife Emily (Suzanne Pleshette). Bob & Emily’s neighbor was Howard Borden, an airline navigator, played by Bill Daily. He is always popping in on Bob & Emily as he lives right next door in the same apartment building (I can hear him now, “Hi Bob! Hi Emily!) At the medical office where Bob has his psychology practice are Jerry Robinson, D.D.S.(Peter Bonerz), an orthodontist who shared the office suite, and their joke-loving receptionist, Carol Kester (Marcia Wallace).
Welcome to my blog on the voices behind these lovable and whimsical characters we call The Care Bears. The Care Bears TV Series ran from 1985 – 1988 here in the United States on ABC TV. The Care Bears are from a magical place faraway up in the clouds called Care-a-Lot, which constitutes a part of the Kingdom of Caring. Their cousins live in the Forest of Feelings. Together they care for the human children on Earth, who they watch through huge telescopes from the sky, and come to help whenever there is need.
Charlie’s Angels gave us three sexy female private eyes to watch every week, and starred Kate Jackson (seasons 1–3), Jaclyn Smith (seasons 1–5), Farrah Fawcett-Majors (season 1), Cheryl Ladd (seasons 2–5) Shelley Hack (season 4) Tanya Roberts (season 5) David Doyle (seasons 1–5) and, John Forsythe (voice of Charlie; seasons 1–5). The show ran from 1976 to 1981. Did you know that it was originally going to be named The Alley Cats! Now that is funny!
Here is a little bit about each star of the show:
I wanted to blog about this great show Blue Bloods and some of the cast. I came into this show late, just started watching this season, hopefully I can watch the other episodes sometime.
The show revolves around an Irish-American Reagan family of police officers with the New York City Police Department. They are a close-knit family and in each episode there is a scene where they are all gathered around their large dinner table eating and discussing the days events, of work and or personal affairs. Those scenes always give me a warm and fuzzy feeling, that sense of family, just wonderful!
