Well here is the start on the fantastic cast of NCIS…

Micheal Weatherly 2

Michael Weatherly was born Michael Manning Weatherly, Jr. on July 8th, 1968 New York City. He grew up in Fairfield, Connecticut and has 5 sisters and 1 brother. Michael graduated from Brooks School in North Andover, Massachusetts, in 1986. He attended American University of Paris for two years. I read a funny story about Michael about when he was living in the red-light district in Paris, he was 19 at the time and was attending the American University. Anyways he got to know the ladies of the evening as he made his way to and from school, but says he was too broke to ever “visit” with them. He recalled: “So my mom came to visit, of course, and we are walking down the street and every hooker is, ‘Bonjour Michael.’ And I am, “Mom, they don’t know me. They just see me all the time.” My mom was, ‘There are a lot of ladies in the neighborhood.’

DARK SHADOWS – 1960’s-1970’s TV Series – 1990’s TV Series – Tim Burton Movie Version

Dark Shadows, well this show was one of my favorites growing up in the 1960’s-70’s. Barnabas Collins (Jonathan Frid) was my first vampire love, lol! I loved being scared as a kid, (wow that sounds kinda messed up, doesn’t it?) but anyways, I remember running into the kitchen and grabbing the refrigerator door and hiding behind it when Barnabus was about to bite someone! I loved the song intro at the beginning it was so haunting yet so beautiful, seeing the ocean tide washing up on shore with the big mysterious Collinwood house in the background, sends shivers up my spine while I am writing this…

I thought I would do a blog on one of Hollywoods most popular actors, Johnny Depp. Johnny was born John Christopher “Johnny” Depp II on June 9, 1963 in born in Owensboro, Kentucky. He has one brother and two sisters. His brother Daniel is a novelist and his sister Christie is currently his personal manager. Through his childhood Johnny’s family moved around a lot, they eventually settled in Mirama, Florida, in 1970. In 1978, his parents divorced. Johnny engaged in self-harm as a child, due to the stress of dealing with family problems, which resulted in several self-inflicted scars. In a 1993 interview, he reflected on his self-injury by saying “My body is a journal in a way. It’s like what sailors used to do, where every tattoo meant something, a specific time in your life when you make a mark on yourself, whether you do it yourself with a knife or with a professional tattoo artist”.

I don’t know about you but I was hooked the first time I saw this show. The cast is amazing and the story lines are great (thanks to the supurb writing department!), not to mention Mark Harmon and Michael Weatherly are yummylicious! LOL What a real treat every week! Anyways, what makes this show work (for me and I bet for many viewers as yourself) is the characters interactions, the actors work so well together! There is humour, drama and just a great sense of unity, like a family they are.

When I was flicking through channels on my TV I came across a new show on ABC called Missing (see official show synopsis below) starring Ashley Judd. I remember watching Ashley in one of my all time favorite TV series Sisters which also starred the lovely Sela Ward (Theodora “Teddy” Reed) & Patricia Kalember (Georgiana “Georgie” Reed Whitsig). Ashley played Reed Halsey Philby, daughter to Alex (Swoosie Kurtz) and Wade (David Dukes). Ashley was on the show from 1991-1994. After winning critical acclaim for the film Ruby in Paradise in 1994 she decided to leave the show and concentrate on her film career.

I decided to give this a watch since J. J. Abrams was involved with it, I loved his work in the ABC TV Series Lost. Not to mention one of my favorite Lost characters was Hurley played by Jorge Garcia who plays Dr. Diego “Doc” Soto on Alcatraz. Sam Neill and Parminder Nagra were another reason I tuned in to watch, always enjoyed their work. The first movie I saw Sam Neill in was Omen III: The Final Conflict in 1981, he played Damien Thorn (he was sooo scary, lol).
